Advanced facial services are in high demand right now so they are a fantastic service to add to any therapists treatment menu. This course will allow you to add Dermaplaning, Chemical Peel and LED Light Therapy as individual services or a combined ultra advanced service.
Dermaplaning is an easy, effective procedure involving the use of a surgical blade. During this fast, painless treatment, dead skin is removed from the epidermis, as well as vellus hair. Benefits include lessening the appearance of acne scarring, any sun damage or hyper-pigmentation, and fine lines and wrinkles. Dermaplaning may be done as a stand alone treatment or to enhance another facial treatment.
A cosmetic chemical skin peel treatment acts as a chemical exfoliant, removing the upper layers of skin and dead skin cells to reveal the fresh, new skin underneath. It is one of the most popular non-invasive skin treatments available. It is suitable for all skin types but is particularly suitable for acne, pigmentation, photo damage, uneven skin tone and texture and anti-ageing.
LED Light Therapy uses a variety of different lights to penetrate into the dermis to gain the desired effect. It can be effectively used to stimulate collagen and elastin, reduce inflammation, accelerate healing and help to tackle acne/breakouts. LED Light Therapy can be used as a stand alone service or combined with other aesthetics services

On the day of the course:
We start with introductions and house keeping . Key points of the theory, completed online are recapped and related to the service. All products, tools and equipment are discussed including storage and H&S precautions.
The tutor will demonstrate a client consultation and perform a detailed demonstration of the service whilst answering any questions you may have.
After the demo, each student will complete the full service under the supervision of the tutor.
At then end there is another opportunity to ask questions and discuss what has been covered during the day. However, don’t worry should you think of something later you can call or email for support.
After the Training
It is important that after training you practise your new skills on friends and family – carry out 5-10 practise sessions in order to make sure you have fully understood everything covered in training and improve your delivery time. If you find you are having any issues, that will give us an opportunity to address any problems before you start offering this service to clients.
