The Facial Electrical course is designed to train you for improving face and skin conditions using electrical equipment. It includes providing consultation, performing treatments and offering aftercare advice. The equipment that are likely to be used includes: Micro-Current, High Frequency, Vacuum Suction, Electro-Muscle Stimulation, Galvanic (iontophoreses & disincrustation) and/or Micro-Lance
Once youbook your place you will receive a booking confirmation containing your online account details so you can start the course straight away. This will enable you to start learning the theory at your own pace, and prepare you for the practical day at the School. We have a high success rate for students, so rest assured that we will provide you with all the support you need to pass your diploma/VRQ.
Our course is accredited by the beauty guild making it an insurable certificate which allows you to use this treatment on the general public and charge for this therapy.

On the day of the course:
We start with introductions and house keeping . Key points of the theory, completed online are recapped and related to the service. All products, tools and equipment are discussed including storage and H&S precautions.
The tutor will demonstrate a client consultation and perform a detailed demonstration of the service whilst answering any questions you may have.
After the demo, each student will complete the full service under the supervision of the tutor.
At then end there is another opportunity to ask questions and discuss what has been covered during the day. However, don’t worry should you think of something later you can call or email for support.
After the Training
It is important that after training you practise your new skills on friends and family – carry out 5-10 practise sessions in order to make sure you have fully understood everything covered in training and improve your delivery time. If you find you are having any issues, that will give us an opportunity to address any problems before you start offering this service to clients. We are available for support by phone, email or Skype.
If you to UPGRADE TO VRQ
Once you have completed your Diploma course, your qualification material will be added to your elearning account. You will print out the relevant documents and create your portfolio. At London School of Hair and Beauty, we use an independent learning structure so that you are able to work at your own pace, around your current commitments. You will work through the following at home to build your knowledge, skills, timings and confidence:
- Practice Diary
- Case Studies
- Assignment/s
During this time you will have access to our NVQ Coordinator who can be contacted for any help, assistance or guidance.
Once the above has been completed, you would then return to the school to complete your live assessments and paper test/s. These will be spread across a minimum of 2 days and will take place at the site that you completed your Diploma. When attending your assessment days you must wear a full beauty uniform or all black with enclosed shoes, short, natural nails (gel polish is fine but no extensions). You must bring your completed portfolio and something to write with. You must provide your own models which should be arranged according to the ranges that you need to complete in your qualification. For most units, 3 different models are required (however some require 4 or 5 please contact the NVQ Coordinator if unsure). If you are completing multiple units, you would follow this structure for each unit.
